Scottish new-wave then rock band founded in 1977 in Glasgow. In the UK and much of Europe, they were popular from the early-1980s to the mid-1990s, while not so much in the States. Since 2005, the band has experienced something of a rebirth, scoring six consecutive Top 40 studio albums to date (2026).
