Produced and conceptualised by Korean-American hip hop and R&B artist Jay Park, LNGSHOT (Korean: 롱샷) is designed to cultivate a new generation of musically independent and self-sufficient artists who are free to express themselves creatively. This vision is reflected in the members’ deep involvement across the entire creative process, from musical production, songwriting and lyricism to choreography and the overall conceptualisation of their releases. Debuting under the newly established record label on January 13, 2026 with the EP Shot Callers, LNGSHOT positions itself as a group seeking to challenge conventional norms within the modern K-Pop system while remaining authentic to its own identity. The name derives from the idiomatic expression “long shot,” referring to an attempt that requires courage and conviction despite a low probability of success. In this context, LNGSHOT symbolises both the risk inherent in pursuing individuality within a fast-paced entertainment industry and the belief in achieving long-term longevity rather than short-lived success. Prior to their official debut, LNGSHOT released the pre-debut project in November 2025. The mixtape was initially distributed for free on the streets of Seoul, South Korea, before later becoming available on digital platforms in 2026. The group consists of the four members: Ohyul, Ryul, Woojin and Louis (78).
